These classes seek to give you an opportunity to learn from some of the best in our family about topics such as 'Singer/Songwriter Production, Music Production & Mixing', and 'Collaborative Worship Songwriting'. Creative Guitars

Sober Emmanuel is a master story-teller who leverages unorthodox tools and techniques to convey the essence of worship and faith through his music.  He has been guitaring for over 12 years now and also delivered a TEDx Talk on  'Music Around Us'. His YouTube channel features a series of Ambient Soundscapes created with a story-based perspective.

This master class will focus on his one-of-a-kind creative approach using different tools to produce a unique tonal palette.

Ableton Keys/Synth/Multi-Tracks

Stephen Netto (Steve)  is an Ableton Approved Educator and serves as the Keyboardist and the Technical Director for Bridge Music. He has been playing keys for over 15 years now. In 2008, he started using Ableton Live to play the keys, and to run backing tracks for live shows with Bridge Music and church services - and brings all of that experience to the table for this masterclass.

Bridge Music Keys - From Studio to Stage:

If you’ve ever wondered how Bridge Music brings the same excellent keyboard tones and tracks used on our albums to all of our live performances on stage? And want to replicate it with your teams? Then this is the masterclass for you.

 

In this masterclass, we go through:

  • The basics of using a computer with your keyboard

  • Sending audio out from your computer to the PA using an audio interface

  • The software that runs our live shows - Ableton Live

  • Setting up a click track (metronome) for your band

  • Creating tracks and running them spontaneously

  • Creating the Bridge Music “Piano” Sound - Using stock plugins in any DAW

  • Creating Warm Pad, Arpeggiated sounds and more with free or stock plugins

  • Optimizing your computer for live performance

  • Using a controller to modify your sounds to add movement and interest to your playing.

Songwriting for Kids

Rachel Francis has 10 years of experience in teaching Songwriting for kids and teenagers. Through her work with LiveJam, she has interacted with over 50,000 children over the past 8 years. She has developed a unique curriculum teaching children to use songwriting as music therapy, and not just become the songwriters of the next generation, but to exercise their imaginative and creative minds today. A testament to this approach is that all of the children Rachel has taught have continued to write songs even beyond her sessions with them.

 

This masterclass is specially designed using a child-centred approach to activate the creative spirit in each child.

Bonus Feature: Rachel Francis will share tips with parents on creating an encouraging environment for children to continue writing.

Collaborative Worship/Corporate Songwriting

by Rachel Francis, Nehemiah K, Samarth Shukla & Sam Alex

Rachel, Nehemiah, Samarth Sam Alex are the featured artists of Bridge Music, each having over 10 years of worship songwriting experience and have written over 70 songs combined. They have worked on multiple collaborative songwriting with various artists and produced numerous songs.  For Bridge Music Season 3, they have been an integral part of the Modifiers Team, who have worked on fine-tuning every aspect of the songs chosen. One of the biggest characteristics of Bridge Music is tapping into the power of collaboration at the beginning of the songwriting process. 

During each interactive session, participants will be actively involved in writing with each other and guided by the course instructor. This masterclass is useful for songwriters who are willing to understand the depths of writing and actively engage in online, collaborative songwriting. It is designed to not only teach skills, but to form networks of songwriters, and develop this collaborative spirit and oneness of process in worship teams.

This masterclass is for those who have been actively involved with music production, mixing, recording, editing, composing etc. to give you an insight into how the music production for Bridge Music happens and what tools and methods are used.
